| Artist Statement: | Pérez-Andreu works mainly in a digital medium. He describes the way he works this way: “I enjoy drawing and making cartoons whenever I have free time. I use a graphic tablet and a digital pen with programs like Corel Painter or Adobe Illustrator, but many of my drafts go on paper first. Sometimes the back of an ATM or a supermarket receipt can be great for those first sketches. On occasion, while my kids run and jump at a playground, I grab my wallet and there I find all the paper I need.” |
