The Seacoast Artists Association (SAA) will have well known painter Rosalie SIDOTI Iacono as its featured demonstration at their meeting to be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 17 in our new gallery at 225 Water Street, Exeter. The public is invited to this meeting and may make a donation to the SAA Scholarship Fund.
A resident of Ipswich, MA, Sidoti is a visual artist of Contemporary Impressionism, who paints figures and landscapes from personal chronicles and observations. The understated attitude of the figure and/or the transition of lights for both figure and landscape paintings provides the initial inspiration for the artist. Years of classical training in the fine arts, rooted in the study of the old and new masters, established a solid foundation from which she drew her inspiration for the compilation of her work.
Sidoti is a juried member of many prestigious organizations including Oil Painters of America, North Shore Art Association and the New Hampshire Art Association.
