Award winning artist Stan Moeller excels in his ability to paint diverse subject matter: landscapes, cityscapes, intereiors, and figurative works. Les interested in technical reality than the mood of reality, he uses spontaneous brushwork and vibrant color to capture the way light moves around and affects a subject as much as the subject itself.

A highly respected and popular instructor, Stan offers plein air painting workshops in the Northeast and abroad and also teaches landscape painting courses at NHIA.

Stan's demo for SAA is open to the public and will take place on the second floor in the back room behind the gallery, which is accessible by elevator. Because of Stan's popularity and estimated attendance, bringing your own chair is strongly recommended.
